Miller Bourne was appointed to assist with the development of the brief for a project to update a number of operating theatres, including space planning and specification with the NHS Trust and user group.

The Practice’s role was management of all architectural works, detailed design and contract administration.  The works comprised the formation of two new orthopaedic ultra-clean theatres and one general theatre with associated scrub-up, preparation and anaesthesia facilities served by dedicated mechanical and electrical plant, all within the hospital’s existing operating department.
